Nashville Auction School is led by co-owners Mike Jones and Craig Meier, whose combined experience reflects decades of leadership, teaching, and dedication to the auction profession.

Mike Jones, CAI, BAS, GPPA, founded Texas Auction Academy in 1992, later changing the name to America’s Auction Academy in 2018. Mike is a nationally recognized auctioneer, real estate broker, educator, and entrepreneur with a career spanning over forty-five years. He is known for his deep expertise in auction law, real estate, personal property, and organizational leadership.
Jones holds the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) professional designation and is a Life Member of both the National Auction Association (NAA) and Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA). Mike served as the 56th President of the NAA and the 36th President of the TAA and earned the “NAA Triple Crown of Auctioneering” as the first auctioneer to win the International Auctioneer Champion (IAC) in 1998, served as the 2004-05 NAA President and inducted into the NAA Hall of Fame in 2012. Mike accomplished the same in Texas by being named the 1995 Texas State Champion Auctioneer, serving as President in 1994-95 and being elected to the Texas Auctioneer Hall of Fame in 2005

Craig D. Meier is an active member of both the Texas AuctioneersAssociation (TAA) and the National Auction Association (NAA). Over the years, he has built a reputation as one of the most accomplished competitors in the industry, earning titles such as the 2003 Texas State Auctioneer Champion, 2007 World Champion Automobile Auction Teammember, 2016 Lone Star Open Champion Auctioneer and U.S. Bid Calling Champion, 2019 Battle of the Bluegrass Champion Auctioneer, and 2024 Mile High Champion Auctioneer. He is also a proud inductee of the Texas Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame. Craig activelysupports and promotes regional contests, strengthening the competitive pipeline for emerging auctioneers.

Together, Mike and Craig guide Nashville Auction School with a focus on high standards, strong instruction, and student success.
